* Coordinate with mechanical design engineers to ensure technical outputs are aligned across the entire system.
* Incorporate structural requirements, electrical systems, mechanical component considerations, and fit‑for‑manufacturing principles into the design of the passive cooling system.
* Apply Design for Manufacture and Design for Assembly principles to reduce costs, mitigate risk and complexity, while improving reliability.
* Align designs with the requirements of manufacturers, EPCs, developers and environmental regulatory bodies.
* Contribute toward the development of appropriate verification test plans.
* Produce clear technical documentation and support IP development to capture and protect future innovations.
Ideal Candidate
* An engineering degree in mechanical, electrical, or other related fields.
* A track record of taking prototypes from mid‑stage readiness to a commercially viable product that complies with customer requirements, industry standards and other stakeholder needs.
* Experience in system integration or multidisciplinary product development, preferably in renewable energy.
* Understanding of structural loads, cabling, electrical systems, and buoyancy/stability principles in floating systems is preferred.
