This role will provide support in the sequencing and allocation of scheduling production requirements and to report key metrics for the Solihull Plant. There will also be a requirement to contribute to development opportunities to meet the key delivery scorecard metrics.
WHAT TO EXPECT
* Support volume production at Solihull Plant by scheduling production requirements to achieve daily and longer‑term operational targets.
* Contribute to setting production across Body, Paint, and Final Assembly to maintain a balanced and stable flow.
* Develop and maintain operational plans to meet build‑to‑sequence requirements for the plant.
* Generate, maintain, and improve standards and procedures governing the area’s operating practices.
* Track and monitor orders through the production system, identifying issues and advising on appropriate resolution actions.
* Report key performance data, including production achievement, stock status, and plant work‑in‑progress, presenting clear and accurate reports.
* Support new model launch plans and production strategies, undertaking additional tasks as directed by line management.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED
You’ll bring solid experience in manufacturing planning and control, with the capability to manage complex production interfaces and deliver effective scheduling solutions to support plant performance.
* Relevant experience within Supply Chain, Scheduling, and Demand and Capacity Planning in a manufacturing environment.
* Broad understanding of the interfaces between vehicle platforms and plant operations, supporting effective cross‑functional working.
* Proven experience in sequencing and allocation of production requirements to support balanced and efficient build.
* Ability to translate production demand into practical and achievable schedules.
* Strong analytical approach to planning and problem solving within a high‑volume manufacturing context.
* Experience working with multiple stakeholders to deliver operational targets.
* Relevant degree or equivalent experience preferred, demonstrating a strong foundation in manufacturing or supply chain disciplines.
