Are you an HV Plant Engineer with extensive experience reviewing and approving designs for DNO projects? If so, please read on...
Essential Skillset:
* 10+ years experience in HV Plant Engineering within Transmission & Distribution projects
* Experience working on 132kV, 275kV and 400kV transmission projects
* Strong understanding of substations, transformers, switchgear and associated HV infrastructure
* Proven experience reviewing, assessing and approving contractor design submissions
* Experience working to DNO engineering standards
* Proven experience in leading design review meetings and providing technical ownership on project delivery
* Proven experience in being the primary technical point of contact for HV Plant design
* Experience in supporting HAZID and engineering risk assessments
* Strong stakeholder management skills with clients, contractors and project teams
Desirable:
* Chartered Engineer or working towards professional registration
* Experience producing, reviewing and approving designs for National Grid projects
* Currently hold or previously held National Grid TP141 Design Assurance Engineer authorisation
* Currently hold or previously held National Grid BP137 Contractor Design Approval Engineer
