Your new companyWe are currently working with a well-established Housing Association to recruit an experienced Housing Officer on a short-term basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a busy housing team and provide essential support during a transitional period.Your new role
* Manage a designated patch of housing stock, delivering a high-quality tenancy management service
* Handle a varied caseload including rent arrears, tenancy sustainment, and anti-social behaviour (ASB)
* Conduct tenancy visits, estate inspections, and home visits, ensuring properties and communities are well maintained
* Provide advice and support to tenants, including signposting to relevant services where required
* Take appropriate action on tenancy breaches in line with policy and legislation
* Work collaboratively with internal teams and external partners to deliver effective housing services
* Maintain accurate records and update housing management systems
What you'll need to succeed
* Previous experience working in a Housing Officer role within a housing association or local authority
* Strong understanding of Scottish housing legislation and tenancy management
* Proven ability to manage rent arrears and ASB cases effectively
* Excellent communication and organisational skills
* Ability to hit the ground running and manage a busy caseload
