An exciting development opportunity has arisen to lead our fantastic team within our Respiratory and General Medical Ward B31 for an initial 3-month period, with possible scope for extension.
We are looking for a highly motivated, enthusiastic, caring and hard-working Registered Nurse to become the Senior Charge Nurse and part of a multidisciplinary team. A high level of interpersonal, communication and organisational skills are essential. You must have demonstrable evidence of your professional development and be able to provide positive examples.
The candidate must lead and contribute significantly to the maintenance of clinical standards, patient safety, staff management and care delivery within the Respiratory and General ward B31.
Your must demonstrate that you are able to provide clinical leadership and expert advice to the Nursing team, through support, development, supervision and education. Must be able to work collaboratively with all Health and social care partners to deliver against national standards and drive person centered care.
You will support the safe staffing agenda and participate in the senior page holding rota.
You should be educated to/working towards/operating at Degree level with relevant experience working at a senior level within the Acute Directorate.
Comprehensive knowledge of clinical guidelines and standards is required.
