Production operative, Hull - £12.21
Working hours: Monday-Friday, 8am - 5:00pm
We are currently looking for a production operative to join one of the UK's leading family-owned seafood businesses.

Responsibilities:
Lead a team of operatives, ensuring full engagement and high performance at all times;
Guarantee product quality standards are met without compromise;
Ensure all raw materials, ingredients, packaging and labels are available to meet the production plan in full and on time;
Minimise waste in all forms;
Analysis and action of factory data and line performance information.
About you:
Good understanding of English language, written and oral;
Flexible and adaptable approach;
Previous experience in a previous environment;
Basic awareness of Food Hygiene.
You must have previous experience of either working or being employed as a line operative within your current role/company.
You’ll be expected to be able to work across a variety of environments and you’ll be provided with suitable personal protective equipment.
The role is ideal for someone with a high degree of self-motivation and initiative, and looking to progress further up the management scale. Your communication skills will also need to be good in order both to understand technical cleaning requirements and also to report any issues as they arise in a clear manner.
