We are partnering with a global consultancy who are delivering an AI‑driven automation and orchestration programme for a major enterprise client. They require an experienced AI Engineer / Senior Python Engineer with strong microservices experience, LLM integration and AWS serverless expertise to support the build of an intelligent prompt‑orchestration platform powered by AWS Bedrock.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and maintain Python microservices, serverless functions (AWS Lambda), backend APIs and Python packages
* Build LLM‑powered agents, orchestration flows and MCP servers using AWS Bedrock
* Analyse logs, traces and evaluation outputs from a live AI product environment
* Design and maintain REST APIs interacting with AWS services including OpenSearch, DynamoDB, Kendra and S3
* Build and maintain Step Functions and workflow orchestration components
* Collaborate closely with DevOps engineers on deployments, operational support and CI/CD
* Contribute to automation pipelines using GitHub Actions and enforce branching and packaging standards
* Support code reviews, documentation standards and engineering best practice
* Assist with release management using Maven, Nexus and established RTL processes
Required Experience
* Strong commercial experience as a Python Engineer, AI Engineer or Backend Engineer
* Expertise with Python frameworks such as FastAPI, Flask or Django
* Hands‑on experience building RESTful APIs and scalable backend services
* Solid understanding of API security, versioning, performance and distributed system design
* Strong knowledge of AWS serverless stack: Lambda, Step Functions, API Gateway, DynamoDB, OpenSearch, Kendra, S3, IAM, CloudWatch
* Experience integrating with LLMs (preferably AWS Bedrock), prompt workflows or vector databases
* Experience working with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions / Jenkins)
* Understanding of event‑driven architecture and serverless design patterns
* Strong communication skills and stakeholder-facing experience
