The Opportunity
This role is based at our client’s head office in Warrington, conveniently located off Junction 11 of the M56. Project Co-ordinator will be part of the full project lifecycle from the initial inception of the scheme through to delivery and project completion. The Project Co-ordinator will be responsible for requesting, documenting, and reporting on key stages within a project’s lifecycle, ensuring that information is requested accurately, within the agreed timescales. The Project Co-ordinator will work on multiple projects simultaneously within the Industrial & Commercial (I&C) and retail sectors.
Your duties and responsibilities will be
Secure Points of Connection (PoC) and obtain quotations for new connections, disconnections, and diversions.
Prepare utility assessment reports at feasibility, design, and pre-construction stages.
Co-ordinate the production of utility service drawings, integrating new supply routes with existing networks.
Generate budget estimates for utility installations, diversions, and disconnections.
Define project scopes to identify constraints, timelines, risks, and technical complexities.
Manage design coordination with internal teams, clients, consultants, and contractors.
Monitor delivery progress to ensure adherence to budget, schedule, and client requirements.
Provide regular updates and reports to clients and project stakeholders.
Attend client, contractor, and subcontractor meetings to support successful project delivery.
Conduct site visits at key milestones and during implementation phases.
Maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, and utility providers.You will have the following qualifications & experience
Ambitious & driven to learn and develop within the utility industry.
Proficient in MS Office suit
Able to effectively priorities and manage workload, planning, and allocation of resources.
General understanding of gas, water, electricity, and telecom infrastructure networks.
Working knowledge of statutory network operators processes & design requirements.
Working knowledge of the construction industry.
A full UK driving license is required, as site and client visits form a core part of the role.Travel to development sites, client offices, and contractor locations will be required to attend meetings and perform site assessments
