Are you an experienced Children's Social Worker?
Do you have experience working with children in a Cared for Children setting?
Randstad are recruiting for a Qualified Social Worker to join Rochdale Council's Cared for Children Service. This is a full time role offering a fantastic pay rate of £35 per hour.

Responsibilities:
11. Responsible for a caseload of more complex cases, providing advice to other social workers in relation to their cases.
12. Provide support to other social workers in the team who are less experienced and may also supervise students, trainees, PA's and support staff and volunteers.
13. Participate in the planning / reviewing of cases.
14. Develop and maintain effective relationships with service users, their families and carers.
15. Provide advice and support and promote independence and early intervention, as necessary.
16. Liaise with colleagues in own or other departments or external agencies to gather relevant information for assessment and care planning activities.
17. Maintain and update case notes and other records to required ethical and quality standards.
18. Write high quality reports as required and also where required give evidence in court in relation to care proceedings.
19. Work effectively on complex situations, use their initiative and evaluate their own and others practice.
20. Be familiar with local resource networks and undertake capacity building with individuals, families, communities, user groups and voluntary organisations.
21. Recognised by peers as a source of reliable knowledge and advise others.
22. Each social worker is expected to respond to duty matters on a rota
Requirements:
23. Social Work England registered
24. Social Work Degree or equivalent
25. Enhanced DBS
