About the Hotel
Park Grand Kensington is entering an exciting new chapter soon to be rebranded as a bold Marriott Lifestyle Hotel. With 132 stylish bedrooms, a brand-new restaurant and bar, and a renewed spirit of creativity and connection, the hotel will become a dynamic hub for travellers and locals in the heart of London.
Our Reception Team will be central to this transformation welcoming guests with personality, confidence, and warmth while supporting a seamless experience across all areas of the hotel, including Food & Beverage.
The Role: Receptionist
We are looking for a vibrant and proactive Receptionist to join our team. This is more than a check-in/check-out role you will be the face and energy of the hotel. Youll manage the front desk with professionalism and flair while also supporting F&B operations as part of our collaborative lifestyle service culture.
Your Responsibilities
* Deliver a smooth and engaging guest arrival and departure experience, including check-ins, check-outs, and guest enquiries.
* Be a first point of contact for all guests offering assistance, recommendations, and warm hospitality at every interaction.
* Support the lobby experience keeping the area tidy, stylish, and alive with energy.
* Assist with F&B operations during peak times (e.g.,bar service), helping with seating guests, or supporting service where needed.
* Manage guest requests, reservations, and concierge-style support with confidence and efficiency.
* Use Opera PMS (or equivalent systems) to handle billing, bookings, and guest profiles with attention to detail.
* Support with guest feedback and service recovery, showing care and confidence when resolving concerns.
* Collaborate closely with Housekeeping, F&B, and the Duty Manager to ensure seamless service throughout the hotel.
* Maintain a high level of knowledge about hotel services, local attractions, and Marriott brand offerings.
About You
* You have previous experience in a front office, guest services, or hotel reception role (ideally in a lifestyle or boutique hotel).
* You're enthusiastic, well-presented, and naturally friendly with a genuine passion for hospitality.
* You enjoy being part of a flexible and hands-on team that works across departments to deliver a standout guest experience.
* Youre calm under pressure, highly organised, and confident with systems and multitasking.
* Opera PMS or Marriott systems knowledge is a plus but full training is provided.
* Youre excited to be part of a rebrand and help create a bold new guest experience.
