Service Care Solutions is working with a local authority based in Northamptonshire to hire an experienced Paralegal to support the Housing Disrepair Claims team. This role offers a flexible, remote‑working basis and is an excellent opportunity for a legal professional with housing or litigation experience to join a busy public sector legal service.
Role Details
* Position: Housing Disrepair Paralegal
* Location: Northamptonshire – Remote
* Umbrella Rate: £20 – £26 per hour
* PAYE Inc. Rate: £18.01 – £23.23 per hour
* Contract Length: 3 months ongoing
Key Responsibilities
* Assisting with the management of housing disrepair claims from instruction to resolution.
* Reviewing evidence, correspondence, and legal documentation.
* Supporting case preparation, including disclosure and drafting documents.
Qualifications
* Previous experience as a paralegal or legal assistant, ideally within housing disrepair or litigation.
* Experience working with or for a local authority (desirable but not essential).
* The ability to work independently in a remote environment.
