Job Description
We are looking for a talented Machinist to join our team and help us produce high-precision parts and assemblies that make a real impact. In this role, you'll program, set up, and operate CNC mills and lathes, as well as manual mills, lathes, and grinders. This is a high mix environment that involves several different setups per day. You'll also have opportunities to occasionally contribute to assembly, wiring, painting, and crating — no two days are exactly the same.
You'll use your problem-solving skills and technical knowledge to help design fixtures and tooling, and you'll be part of a team that takes pride in doing things right the first time.
What You'll Do
• Set up and operate CNC and manual mills and lathes, grinders, drill presses, and other shop equipment, with several different setups per day
• Machine precision parts to exact specifications and perform peer inspections to ensure top quality
• Program CNC machines using Gibbs CAD/CAM software
• Design and build fixtures, tooling, and special components as needed
• Clean, maintain, and lubricate machines and tools
• Contribute to painting, assembly, wiring, and crating when needed
• Work safely and follow all company policies and procedures
• Stay curious and continue learning new skills and techniques
• Remain flexible and be willing to take on the challenge of prototyping and R&D
What We're Looking For
• Strong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
• Working knowledge of G and M code
• Good math skills for precision work
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
• Ability to lift up to 60 lbs and handle hands-on shop work
• Self-motivated and reliable, with good communication and time management skills
• Team player who enjoys working alongside others
• Desire to continuously learn and improve
Nice to Have
• Experience designing fixtures or tooling
• Previous work in a precision manufacturing environment
• Interest or experience in continuous improvement

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $ an hour, with additional profit share paid out twice a year with a catch-up payment.
