Location: West Yorkshire / Hybrid Working (1-2 days in the office a week – Bradford – Relocating to Leeds Summer 2026)

We have an exciting opportunity for a Sap Consultant to join the IT team at Yorkshire Water and be a part of helping Yorkshire Water to provide the best service to our customers. Could this be you?

Where you fit in:
As our SAP Consultant – Security you will:
11. Act as a trusted subject matter expert within our Platform Security team, shaping best practices and driving high impact security initiatives.
12. Lead the delivery of key BAU projects and activities, ensuring our SAP security landscape remains robust, compliant, and future ready.
13. Collaborate closely with our AMS support teams, working together to troubleshoot, enhance, and optimise our SAP environment.
14. Serve as a central point of contact for SAP colleagues, providing expertise, guidance, and support across the wider SAP community.
15. Partner with business stakeholders to deliver a wide range of security focused improvements, influencing decision making and helping drive a proactive security culture.
What skills & qualifications you will need:
16. Practical experience with SAP S/4HANA Roles & Authorisations, and confidence working hands on with role design and troubleshooting.
17. Familiarity with SAP GRC Access Controls, especially around technical setup and day to day use.
18. A good understanding of SAP BTP authorisation concepts, and how to build secure, scalable access in a cloud environment.
19. Experience with SAP cloud products like SuccessFactors, Concur, or Ariba.
20. A solid awareness of audit and control practices, and the ability to help keep our security processes tight and compliant.
