About this role
We are looking for a dynamic Product Manager to help lead change across the business. They will be responsible for overseeing the entire product lifecycle, from research to launch and ongoing measurement and improvement, as well as ensuring we comply with the regulations that affect the services we provide, with a strong focus on OFCOM compliance.
They will work across the business to collaborate with colleagues in Sales, Marketing, Systems, Commercial and Legal to design and map products and ensure compliance with industry requirements.
This is a fast-paced role which will see the successful candidate work with stakeholders internally and externally to develop products and drive positive change for our customers.
Main responsibilities
* Own the overall product strategy and roadmap, and delivery for the business, working with stakeholders across the business including co-ordinating delivery across Networks, IT, Marketing, Sales, and Commercial teams.
* Act as a subject matter expert on our products, including owning relationships with our third-party suppliers related to our services.
* Own our Terms and Conditions including engagement with third party legal advice.
* Ensure that we meet our regulatory obligations with a particular focus on our OFCOM, including our MID submissions.
* Plan and carry out product launches, work with the marketing team to communicate product propositions for customers.
* Manage in-life products including customer feedback, requirements and issues.
* Provide insight on products in the market and competitor offerings.
* Understand and translate relevant industry and consumer legislation to the wider business.
* Prioritise product features and functionalities based on business value, user impact, and technical feasibility.
Working hours
This is a full-time position working 37.5 hours per week. Monday – Friday from 9.00am – 5.00pm.
Experience required
* Experience as a Product or Regulatory Manager.
* Exceptional project management skills with the ability to work effectively in a matrix structure.
* Experience of managing external stakeholders including suppliers and partners to enable delivery, and deal with incidents and faults.
* Happy to investigate potential complex problems and develop solutions which combine business ideas and technology.
* Ability to think critically, consider the benefits and limitations to different solutions.
* Time management, efficient and well organised, your own project manager.
* Ability to communicate, influence and motivate cross-functional teams to achieve product goals.
* Strong problem-solving skillset, to identify and effectively address challenges during product development.
* Excellent written and verbal communication to clearly convey product vision and requirements to stakeholders.
* Deep understanding of customer needs and ability to advocate for their interests.
