Job Title: HIAB Driver
Location: Leicester
Hours: Monday to Friday,
Salary: £15–£18 per hour, depending on experience
We are currently seeking a skilled and reliable HIAB Driver to join our team, responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of goods using a lorry-mounted crane (HIAB). The role involves delivering building materials, plant equipment, or other loads to commercial or residential sites.
1. Operate a HIAB vehicle safely and in compliance with all relevant legislation
2. Load, transport, and unload goods using the crane
3. Ensure accurate and timely deliveries to multiple locations
4. Complete daily vehicle checks and report any defects
5. Maintain accurate delivery paperwork and logs
6. Provide excellent customer service at all delivery points
7. Follow health and safety procedures at all times
8. Requirements
9. Valid UK Class 2 (Category C) driving licence, held for at least 2 years
10. Valid HIAB licence
11. Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
12. Minimum 6 months Class 2 and HIAB experience preferred
13. Good geographical knowledge of the local area
14. Physically fit and able to handle manual work
15. Excellent communication and customer service skills
16. Maximum 6 points on licence – no DR, IN, or DD convictions
