Legal Counsel Salary: £60,000 – £80,000 per annum Location: Croydon / Greater London, UK (Remote / Hybrid considered for the right candidate) Contract: Full-time, Permanent
Apollogrid, the UK subsidiary of Rahvolt Group, is a fast-growing leader in premium home energy storage and solar solutions. We are currently seeking an experienced Legal Counsel to join our UK team to support our expanding commercial operations and China-UK cross-border business activities.
Key Responsibilities
* Draft and review commercial contracts and legal documents to effectively control and mitigate transaction risks.
* Take full responsibility for UK local compliance (GDPR, Employment Law, HMRC tax compliance, and other regulatory obligations) and build a robust compliance system.
* Manage labour and personnel legal affairs, handle dispute coordination, and maintain effective docking with external law firms.
* Provide support on subsidiary governance and deliver specialist legal assistance on China-UK cross-border matters.
Requirements
* Hold UK SRA registration qualification or a relevant professional degree in UK law.
* Demonstrated experience in British local legal work; experience within a multinational company is preferred.
* Proficient in relevant UK laws and regulations, with full fluency in both Chinese and English, and the ability to independently handle legal practice.
* Possess legal right to work in the UK. Must be rigorous, highly responsible, detail-oriented, and skilled in cross-departmental collaboration.
