Support the smooth running of the warehouse. To ensure timely and accurate delivering/ordering of all stock on a supply and need basis through achievement of both company and external systems and to act as a secondary point of contact for internal teams within Palletforce and Transport Operations. Take an active role in the direction and delivery of all stock, to ensure best practice methods are used in the execution of all deliveries and ordering. Wisbech 08.00 – 17.00, Wimblington 09.00 – 18.00
Accountable KPI’s
Customer Service – To ensure all paperwork is processed with accuracy – 100%
Advise Warehouse Area Manager of any orders that have unexpected delays within 2 hours of notification – 2 hours
Ensure all driver paperwork is processed within 24 hours of receipt – 100%
Key Accountabilities
Customer Service
1. Ensure effective and efficient customer service levels are maintained within the warehousing department by:
2. Keeping stock control systems up to date and making sure inventories are accurate
3. Transferring goods onto warehouse Management systems
4. Organisation of labour for any re-work required
5. Booking in containers
6. Printing labels for FLT drivers
7. Scanning of paperwork for customers
8. Management of In and Out paperwork and updating on any relevant systems
9. Checking goods inward
10. Building loads and allocation
11. Printing of delivery notes
12. Briefing drivers on a daily basis on outloads and deliveries
13. Supporting with customer visits and stock checks ensuring quality of service they receive is up to their required standard
14. Raise purchase orders and carry out required administration for this function
15. Monitor warehouse requests inbox
16. Raise transfer orders and carry out required administration for this function
17. Locate stock on the control system
18. Chase deliveries from suppliers and advise Warehouse Area Manager, Transport teams and supervisors of any delays
19. Deal with stock requisitions
20. Manage the returns
21. Aid with cleansing of control system in association with the Warehouse Area Manager
22. Carry out general stock administration
23. Speak to suppliers regarding prices
24. Achieve all set standards for the delivery/ordering of all items of stock and to achieve KPI targets using relevant systems
Communication
25. Contact internal customers to resolve any queries or problem that may arise with paperwork
26. Responding to and dealing with customer communication by email and telephone
Teamwork
27. Encouraging teamwork within the workplace by displaying the correct behaviours towards all members of the Knowles Transport Ltd teams
28. Maintaining standards of health and safety, hygiene and security in the work environment, for example, ensuring that stock such as chemicals and food are stored safely and securely and reporting of any concerns to the Warehouse Area Manager
