Position Purpose
Senior Project Managers are leaders in the Projects group, focused on project delivery through developing teams of Project Managers and Associate Project Managers. They optimize project planning and execution for specific Markets, guided by the TAIT Project Process. They participate in bidding and developing new opportunities within their Market focus and establish core teams as projects approach confirmation.
Senior Project Managers demonstrate mastery in managing Scope, Schedule, and Budget, leading high-performance teams that embody TAIT's Leadership and Inclusive Culture framework. They lead through context, with command-and-control moments when necessary, and expand their influence as they build relationships and mastery in their Markets, successfully delivering outcomes of Happy Team, Happy Customer, and Margin.
Responsibilities
Project Oversight
* Support project teams in planning and delivery, grounded in the TAIT Project Process
* Lead or coach development of project budgets, monitoring, tracking, and reporting
* Lead or coach project team check-ins, evaluating scope, schedule, and budget progress
* Guide project teams to leverage subject matter experts, Technical Leads, and Functional leaders
* Facilitate collaboration to overcome challenges while maintaining quality
* Coordinate resources and resolve priorities with Functional leaders
* Ensure leaders are aware of high-risk or complex project progress
Active Project Management
* Perform duties as per the Project Manager job description
* Lead project planning and delivery, grounded in the TAIT Project Process
* Be accountable for the project team, scope, schedule, and budget
Bidding and Development
* Represent Project Management on all assigned Bids
* Ensure accuracy and quality of Bids based on Market best practices
* Participate in Design Development to ensure ownership of scope, schedule, and budget
Business Development and Account Management
* Assume commercial accountability for projects and relationships, especially within specialized Markets
* Maintain and develop customer relationships in collaboration with Business Development
* Act as Account Manager for long-standing customer relationships
* Coordinate customer communication with Business Development and Market Leaders
* Maintain CRM data
Department Leadership
* Maintain department culture and standards
* Promote best practices, innovations, successes, and lessons learned
* Lead or participate in Lessons Learned sessions
* Drive departmental improvements and initiatives
* Contribute to training and reference materials
* Ensure commitment to TAIT Project Process and Department Activities
* Monitor and communicate department and organizational updates
Organizational Leadership
* Attend organizational meetings and training
* Promote TAIT's Leadership and Inclusive Culture
* Collaborate across TAIT locations
* Engage in cross-functional teamwork and process optimization
Management Responsibility

Position Requirements
* Degree in Engineering, Technical Theatre, or Live Event-related field
* Several years of experience in Entertainment or Construction industry
* Preferred experience:
* Technical Theater, Live Event Production, Project Management, Construction Management
* Experience with Commercial and Contractual responsibilities
* Proven track record of managing profitable projects
* Ability to prioritize across multiple projects
* Intermediate or higher proficiency with Microsoft Office
* Familiarity with Slack and Box
