Specialist Pharmacist – Technical Services
We are seeking a dedicated professional to contribute to both Clinical and Technical aseptic services within our state‑of‑the‑art Pharmacy Technical Services Unit, which holds an MHRA Manufacturing Specials (MS) licence and provides comprehensive production services to hospital patients, external customers and other NHS Trusts.
Responsibilities
* Work closely with the Lead Pharmacist, Chief Technician and Associate Head of Technical Services to manage and strategically develop the service.
* Oversee pharmacist‑based roles, training, IT systems and professional aspects of the service.
* Supervise rotational pharmacists and pre‑registration pharmacists.
* Drive active participation in service evolution and introduce improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
* Registered Pharmacist with a solid understanding of clinical and technical pharmacy practices.
* Demonstrated leadership qualities, teamwork and a strong commitment to training and development.
* Experience in radiopharmacy desirable but not essential.
