Smile Education is working in partnership with a well-regarded school in Oldham to recruit a dedicated School Administrator. In this vital role, you’ll support the smooth running of the school and help create a positive environment for pupils, staff, and parents.
Position: School Administrator
Location: Oldham (OL1)
Pay: £13.83 – £17.00 per hour (based on experience)
Contract: Full-Time
What You’ll Be Doing:
* Managing day-to-day school administration
* Maintaining accurate student records and attendance data
* Supporting communication with parents, staff, and external partners
* Assisting with budgeting and resource planning
* Ensuring compliance with school policies and education regulations
* Providing admin support to the headteacher and teaching staff
* Helping coordinate school events and activities
What We’re Looking For:
* Previous experience in school administration or a similar office-based role
* Excellent organisational skills and the ability to multitask
* Clear and confident communication skills
* A calm, proactive approach under pressure
* A valid Enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply through Smile Education)
* Familiarity with school systems or education sector experience is desirable
