Role & Responsibilities:
Assisting with the smooth running of the kitchen production areas.
* Washing dishes manually and also by using the dishwasher.
* Assisting in basic food preparation if needed.
* Cleaning pots, pans, and other kitchen utensils.
* Maintaining the kitchen work areas in accordance with HACCP regulations.
* Storing crockery, cutlery, and glassware.
* Sweeping and mopping the kitchen floor.
* Emptying bins when full.
* Reporting faulty equipment to the kitchen manager or chef and arranging repairs.
* Minimizing breakages.
* Following daily cleaning rotas.
* Transporting dirty linen and cloths to the hotel laundry.
* Assisting in other hotel areas when required.
* Maintaining good relationships with all departments and communicating effectively throughout the hotel.
* Understanding responsibilities related to Fire Procedures, Health and Safety, COSHH, Infection Control, and Emergency Aid.
