we’re looking for a technical + qa assistant to join us on our journey ready to dive in and stir things up?
what we need |
a detail-driven, food safety-focused technical + qa assistant to support our central production unit (cpu) in east acton. you’ll help maintain the highest standards of food quality + compliance, working closely with the site technical manager and wider team to ensure everything we produce lives up to the wagamama name
what you’ll do |
deliver food safety + quality standards that reflect our brand
conduct and report daily tasting panels + results
carry out internal audits to a set schedule
investigate root causes of non-conformances + complaints
ensure daily compliance with our quality management system
monitor + improve supplier quality performance
support training on food safety + health + safety at cpu + warehouse
manage quality control of ingredients into cpu + warehouse
maintain relationships with 3rd party labs + service providers
what you’ll need |
essential
level 3 food safety / HACCP
degree qualified
good IT skills (especially microsoft office)
basic food hygiene knowledge
strong problem-solving skills
great team player with solid interpersonal skills
minimum 1 year experience in a similar food industry role
flexibility with working hours

knowledge of BRC accreditation
