Sanctuary Supported Living is delighted to be recruiting for a Housing Support Assistant at our Support Service at Phoenix House, Basildon.

The role of Housing Support Assistant will include:
- Supporting the Housing and Contract Manager to deliver an effective, enhanced housing management service to Sanctuary Supported Living customers
- Assisting with tenancy and voids management and maintaining occupancy levels
- Supporting and promoting compliance with Health and Safety policies and procedures and undertaking key compliance activities
- Building and maintaining relationships with customers and internal and external key stakeholders
- Managing the procurement and availability of supplies, furniture, and equipment within our schemes
- Recording and updating relevant data, maintaining effective filing systems
- Contributing to special projects and change programmes as appropriate
Skills and experiences:
- Previous experience delivering tenancy services
- Experience working to deadlines and prioritising workload
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office packages
- Literacy and numeracy to the equivalent of Grade C English and Maths GCSE
- NVQ2 or equivalent in relevant area
- Ability to extract and interrogate data
- Some experience in the use of housing management systems or similar is desirable
- Travel will be a requirement of the role; therefore, a full valid driving licence and access to car is essential
