Due to an expansion in our service we have exciting opportunities to support the Children's Community Nursing Service in providing respite care, supporting outpatients clinics and special needs schools and some aspects of clinical care under the guidance of the registered nurse.
To work as part of the Children's Community Nursing Team by supporting the registered nurse in delivering a high standard of care to the child/ young person and their family.
To work as part of the nursing and multi-disciplinary team in the child's own home and other establishments under the direction of a Community Children's Nursing Borough Manager.
We also have term time contracts available to care for children with complex health needs within the school environment.
Opportunities have arisen for enthusiastic HCSWs to join the Children's Community Nursing Service (CCNS) in ABUHB. We are looking for motivated individuals who enjoy working with children in a variety of settings and environments. The individuals must have the pre requisite Level 3 qualification in health and social care or childcare.
To work as part of the CCNS by supporting the registered nurse in delivering a high standard of care to the child / young person and their family.
All necessary training will be given and the successful candidates will be supported to develop their knowledge, experience and skills. We also encourage wider development and career progression is encouraged.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
