Weston College is the regional provider for the Prison Education Framework (PEF) across the South West of England and is now seeking to recruit an outstanding and highly motivated Lecturer in Brickwork at HMP Dartmoor.
This is a full-time role, working 37 hours per week.
Day to day duties include:
* Delivering a high quality curriculum in Brickwork by developing and maintaining a full course file, including comprehensive scheme of learning and lesson planning.
* Preparation, assessment and marking.
* Developing positive learner experiences across all courses.
* Engaging employers in through the gate activities to employ learners and support the delivery of the courses.
Required skills and qualifications:
* Relevant experience within a Brickwork environment.
* Willingness to complete a teaching qualification if required.
* Professional qualifications relating to Brickwork.
