Key Responsibilities: The role of Assistant Support Worker with The Salvation Army is an inspirational one and key to achieving successful outcomes for clients. As a motivated and dynamic Assistant Support Worker you will be responsible for assisting with delivering a high quality programme of support to families and children which promotes client choice and control. You will assist client with addressing their support needs, support them to make positive life choices and ultimately empower them to lead more sustainable lifestyles. You will help advocate for clients and accompany them on appointments. You will also assist with day-to-day activities using trauma informed approaches. You will be required to do administration tasks such as record keeping, case notes, form filling and front of house cover.
