Established in 2000, Climate Design Studio is an independent creative agency delivering Strategy, Visual Identity, Print, Digital, Film, Packaging, Environmental Design and Advertising for clients across the UK and Ireland.
We're growing — and we're looking for an ambitious, creatively driven Motion Graphics Designer & Video Editor to join our Belfast studio.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who lives and breathes motion, understands storytelling, and is equally comfortable crafting dynamic video content or supporting wider design projects when needed.
The Role
You'll work closely with our creative team to bring brands to life through motion. From concept development to final delivery, you'll create engaging video and animated content across a variety of sectors and platforms.
While motion is the core focus, you'll also contribute to broader graphic design projects when required — so versatility and strong design fundamentals are key.
What You'll Do
* Develop creative concepts for motion and video projects
* Create high-quality motion graphics and animations
* Edit video content for digital, social, and campaign use
* Collaborate with designers, strategists and creative leads
* Interpret briefs and art direction with creativity and precision
* Manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced studio environment
* Support wider graphic design projects when required
* Take projects from concept through to final production
What We're Looking For
You are:
* A strong conceptual thinker with a keen eye for detail
* Confident working independently and as part of a team
* Comfortable managing your own workflow and deadlines
* A clear communicator with fluent written and spoken English
* Adaptable, proactive, and eager to grow
Essential Skills
* Advanced knowledge of Adobe After Effects
* Strong experience in Adobe Premiere Pro
* Solid working knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
* Strong understanding of design principles, typography and layout
* Experience delivering content across digital and social platforms
Desirable (but not essential)
* Experience with sound design and basic audio editing
* Illustration skills
* Understanding of branding and identity systems
* Experience working in an agency or studio environment
