Position: Commercial Gas Engineer
Location: M6 Corridor - Dudley to Stoke
Salary: Up to £48k
Our client is a special M&E National Contractor who have been in market for over 30 plus years with Head office in the Northwest. Due to growth within the region, we're recruiting for an experienced Commercial Gas engineer. The commercial Gas Engineer will be required to work across the M6 from Dudley to Stoke. The role involves maintaining a wide range of commercial plant room appliances, with responsibilities split between planned maintenance and reactive repair work. The company provides a call-out service which is currently 1 in 4 and is planned to grow to 1 in 8 over time.
Responsibilities
* Maintain a wide range of commercial plant room appliances across a portfolio of commercial clients (pubs & restaurants, blue light, retail, and public sector).
* Split responsibilities between planned maintenance and reactive repair work.
* Participate in the call-out rota as part of the service offering, with future plans to adjust the frequency.
Qualifications
* Hold ACS Commercial Gas Qualifications, including COCN1 or CODNC01, CIGA1, and CORT1.
* Ideally 5+ years' experience working on commercial heating systems.
* Preferably hold ComCat ticket.
* UK Driving Licence.
* Based between Dudley and Stoke.
Requirements
* Minimum five years' experience in the field as Commercial Gas Engineer.
* Valid Commercial Gas Tickets.
* Previous experience on Oil & LPG is beneficial.
* Desire to hold Comcat.
Salary & Benefits
* Up to £48k per annum.
* 1-4 call out plus £350 weekly retainer.
* Overtime 1.5 & 2x.
* Travel pay after 30 minutes each way.
* 8:00-16:30 working hours.
