This exceptional Ofsted Outstanding specialist school is seeking caring and motivated SEN Teaching Assistants to support children and young people with autism, communication needs and complex learning difficulties. Set within 23 acres of beautiful grounds, the setting offers a truly unique learning experience with sensory rooms, woodland areas, music spaces and integrated therapeutic support throughout the school day.
Students aged 5:19 benefit from highly personalised learning programmes tailored to their individual strengths and needs. Small class sizes and a collaborative approach between teachers, therapists and support staff ensure every learner receives the guidance they need to flourish both academically and emotionally.

Position Details:
* Position: SEN Teaching Assistant
* Full:time, Monday:Friday (08:30am : 4:15pm)
* Located in Cranleigh, Surrey

Responsibilities:
* Supporting students on a 1:1 and small group basis
* Assisting teachers with personalised learning activities
* Supporting emotional regulation and positive behaviour strategies
* Helping students develop communication, independence and life skills
* Supporting community:based learning activities and work:related experiences
* Assisting with personal care where required
* Working collaboratively with teachers, therapists and families

Requirements:
* A patient, resilient and compassionate approach
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
* GCSE Maths and English or equivalent desirable
* SEN or Teaching Assistant experience desirable but not essential
* Willingness to undertake specialist training
* Ability to support students with complex communication and behavioural needs
* Eligibility to work in the UK
