Grade: RCS J
Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time)
Location: Midlands, covering 3 sites - some travel needed
Hybrid working, Car or Car allowance, Bonus, 26 day holiday

We're on the lookout for an enthusiastic individual with demonstrated business partnering experience, a passion for driving culture and engagement, and the ability to build credible, influential relationships. You'll engage effectively with our senior leadership team and champion every aspect of our HR strategy.

WHAT DOES THE ROLE ENTAIL?

* As part of your normal duties, you will support a fantastic team of colleagues – circa 350
* Partner with site leadership to develop and implement effective HR strategies aligned with business objectives.
* Provide expert guidance on absence management, ensuring compliance with company policies and relevant legislation.
* Foster colleague engagement through initiatives that promote a positive workplace culture and enhance employee satisfaction.
* Manage a high caseload of employee relations issues, including grievances, disciplinary actions, and performance management.
* Collaborate with union representatives to maintain strong working relationships and resolve any arising issues.
* Analyse HR metrics and trends to identify areas for improvement and develop action plans accordingly.
* Facilitate training and development programs to enhance colleague skills and support career progression.
* Act as a trusted advisor to management and colleagues on HR-related matters.

* Culture and Engagement experience – Essential
* Union experience – Desirable
* A CIPD level 5 qualification or equivalent desirable not essential
