WFH: The successful candidate will need to commit to working 2-3 days in their City of London Office.
Absolute Recruit are proud to be supporting an established IT Managed Service Provider (MSP) in the City of London who are searching for an experienced Senior Infrastructure Consultant. The Senior Infrastructure Consultant will design, architect, and implement cutting-edge IT solutions for a diverse clientele across FS, Real Estate and other various sectors. This customer-facing role offers the chance to shape IT systems for small and medium-sized organisations.
The Senior Infrastructure Consultant role involves evaluating customers’ IT solutions, documenting business and technical requirements, and presenting tailored solution options. You will design comprehensive IT architectures, including HLD and LLD, ensuring accuracy through thorough research and testing. Responsibilities include implementing and deploying IT infrastructure solutions, developing maintenance plans, delivering training, and handing over to operational teams.
You'll have a commercial mindset and understand that "time is money" and be able to comfortably produce Costings for clients across build and time to deliver aspects. At times, you'll need to break through barriers to make sure solutions are delivered on-time and within scope.
Technical Skills:
• Strong knowledge of designing and implementing on-premise, private cloud, public cloud IaaS, PaaS, SaaS based solutions.
• VMware, Hyper-V, Azure, AWS
• Windows Server (including AD and GPO)
• Hosted Desktop (Citrix, RDS, Azure Virtual Desktop)
• Exchange or Exchange Online
• Commercial aware and a strong understanding costing projects (TCO).
• Any AZ (Azure), AWS, Microsoft or VMware Certification would be highly advantageous.
