Public Law & Human Rights Solicitor (NQ-3 PQE) | Leading National Law Firm | Birmingham A leading national law firm is seeking a committed and enthusiastic Solicitor to join its highly regarded Public Law and Human Rights team, with a focus on civil liberties and public law work. This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a top-tier team recognised by Legal 500 and Chambers, working on impactful and high-profile cases across a range of specialist areas. The Opportunity:
* Open to Newly Qualified solicitors (with strong paralegal experience in public law) through to 3 years' PQE
* National team, with flexible options across other regional offices
* Work on a varied caseload including actions against public bodies, inquests, education law, and welfare rights
* Join a collaborative team committed to access to justice and strategic litigation
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage your own caseload of civil liberties/public law matters
* Act on behalf of vulnerable clients in complex and often high-profile cases
* Supervise and support junior team members (where applicable)
* Engage in business development and media work (with in-house support)
* Collaborate with colleagues across departments on cross-practice public law issues (e.g. health & social care, personal injury)

* Experience in civil liberties, actions against public bodies, or inquest work
* A strong commitment to claimant-side work and social justice
* Confidence managing your own litigated files
* Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work empathetically with clients
* Commercial awareness and interest in career development
