Senior Estates Surveyor - 12 Month Fixed Term Contract
We have a fantastic opportunity to join us as a Senior Estates Surveyor on a 12-month Fixed Term Contract. In this role, you will manage and optimise a diverse property portfolio, provide expert advice, and handle a wide range of estate management responsibilities. You will cover leasehold acquisitions and disposals, lease advisory, and rent, service charge, insurance, and rates management for our Depots and Delivery Units (DUs) across the UK.

Interested? Here's what you'll be doing as a Senior Estates Surveyor at Evri:
* Sourcing opportunities and delivering solutions for new Depots and DUs, including properties, replacements, swaps, and regears.
* Negotiating heads of terms, ensuring compliance, and managing delivery with external consultants such as agents, solicitors, surveyors, and planning consultants.
* Providing options, preparing budgets, and contributing to business cases for approval, aiming to maximise savings.
* Maintaining records, including budgets, reports, memos, property schedules, and trackers.
* Managing rent, service charges, insurance payments, applications for consents, legal notices, and lease compliance advice.
* Handling lease management, including renewals, rent reviews, dilapidations, and lease variations.
* Liaising with external advisors and internal teams for approvals and recommendations.
* Overseeing external consultants through the appeals process and ensuring accurate billing and mitigation.
* Managing complaints from landlords and third parties, advising the business on implications.
We are looking for:
* MRICS qualification with 5-10+ years of post-qualified experience.
* UK driving license.
* Extensive experience in acquisitions, property management, lease advisory, planning, and rates.
* Significant warehouse/logistics experience and industry contacts.
* Experience with lease advisory, rent reviews, statutory renewals, and dilapidations in logistics.
* Ability to negotiate heads of terms and guide legal processes.
* Strong negotiation skills and commercial acumen with knowledge of Landlord and Tenant legislation.
