This Cleaner role is ideal for someone who takes pride in maintaining high cleaning standards and can work independently while ensuring a safe, hygienic, and welcoming environment for staff and visitors.

Job Role
As a Cleaner in Tamworth, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness throughout office areas, communal spaces, welfare facilities, and meeting rooms, ensuring high standards of hygiene and presentation are consistently achieved.
Key Responsibilities
- Cleaning office corridors across two floors, including mopping floors and wiping doors and touchpoints
- Cleaning stairwells and internal glass panels
- Hoovering open-plan office carpeted areas
- Cleaning offices and meeting rooms
- Clearing and preparing meeting rooms after use
- Emptying office and food waste bins
- Cleaning and disinfecting toilet and washroom facilities
- Replenishing paper towels, toilet rolls, and hygiene supplies
- Cleaning and disinfecting canteen facilities, including fridges, microwaves, utensils, and crockery
- Buffering wooden floors in reception, offices, and corridor areas
- Reporting maintenance issues and health & safety concerns
- Maintaining Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) and following safe working practices
- Restocking and ordering cleaning supplies
- Carrying out minor maintenance duties such as unclogging sinks and adjusting toilet seats
- Providing occasional cover for morning cleaning duties when required
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year cleaning experience within a domestic, commercial, or industrial environment
- BICSc training or equivalent preferred
- Strong understanding of cleaning chemicals, products, and equipment
- Good knowledge of health & safety and hygiene standards
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and manage workloads effectively
- Physically able to climb stairs and lift cleaning equipment and supplies
- Organised, reliable, and trustworthy
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
