Job Responsibilities
* Complete operational procurement management with a focus on economically and efficiently handling procurement processes for defined product groups.
* Ensure the availability of materials by actively participating at the interface to scheduling, suppliers, and strategic purchasing.
* Build orders for direct material in accordance with established frameworks and agreements.
* Monitor and track orders for all materials within assigned material groups, addressing any blocking issues as necessary.
* Conduct invoice checking and processing, ensuring alignment with specifications and guidelines.
* Develop and maintain framework agreements and lead additions for new parts.
* Handle consignment, VOMI processing, and suggest article inclusions and contract changes.
* Handle initial sample processing from EPD, including orders, approvals, and special deliveries.
* Participate actively in supplier appointments and visits to ensure flawless operations.
* Control the EPD process, including supplier inquiries and goods management.
* Track missing parts and participate in relevant meetings to address shortages.
* Maintain vendor master data and update orders as needed in consultation with relevant departments.
* Collaborate on reporting and maintain standard pricing.
* Process and coordinate discontinued parts with suppliers and other departments.
* Serve as an interface to all departments, including production, quality control, development, and accounting.
Training and Experience
* Bachelor’s degree in manufacturing operations, business administration, operations management, purchasing, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
* 2-3 years of professional experience in procurement or a related field.
* High level of accuracy
* Proficiency in MS Office and SAP
* Proficiency in written and spoken English and German is required
