Carer / PA Carer, £17.10 per hour:
Mon - Fri, 8.30am - 3.30pm
Carer / PA for an friendly, sociable young lady with learning disabilities. You must be active and like the outdoors, supporting at home, and during activities and outings.
This is a very rewarding role supporting a young person, who likes to share in activities and experiences.
Additional care support during outings, your primary role will be to support with communication.
You will need:
British Sign Language Level 1 or above or with BSL as a first language. You must be able to speak clearly and use Sign Supported English. The young person is hearing and has good understanding but uses BSL.
Funding provided to study BSL Level 2.
Experience in providing high quality and responsive support for young adults with additional needs, including autism.
A full UK driving licence and have access to a vehicle, we live in a rural area close to the A1.
You must be able to keep up with an active young lady.
