?? Commercial Plumber (Mechanical Engineer) - Milton Keynes / Bedford / Biggleswade
Salary: £38,000 - £44,000 (depending on experience)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
Location: Mobile role covering Milton Keynes and Bedford - base Biggleswade
?? About the Role
We're seeking a qualified Commercial Plumber supporting healthcare facilities across Milton Keynes and Bedford. You'll work on a mobile basis, maintaining and repairing systems in community hospitals, health centres, and administrative buildings.
??Key Responsibilities
* Carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and
* Reactive repairs (40% PPM / 60% reactive)
* Collaborate with a team of electricians, gas engineers, and HVAC specialists
* Participate in a 1-in-6 or 1-in-7 call-out rota
o Standby pay: £175
o Call-out window: Friday evening to Monday morning
? Requirements
* NVQ Level 3 in Plumbing or equivalent
* Completed trade apprenticeship route
* Experience in commercial plumbing and building services engineering
* Current DBS certificate (within the last few months preferred)
* Full UK driving licence
