Cure Talent are partnered with a medical technology manufacturer who are looking to add a Quality Control Inspector to support inspection activities across raw materials, in-process builds and finished medical devices. This is a hands-on role within a regulated manufacturing environment, supporting both production flow and quality compliance. The role sits within the Quality function and works closely with Supplier Quality and Production teams to ensure products meet defined specifications and are released in line with internal procedures and control plans. As a Quality Control Inspector, you will be responsible for carrying out inspection and measurement activities across incoming materials, in-process assemblies and finished devices. You will work to engineering drawings, inspection plans and work instructions, ensuring all checks are completed accurately and documented correctly. The role includes cleanroom-based inspection, final release activities, and supporting labelling and dispatch processes. You will also support non-conformance identification, instrumentation upkeep, calibration activities and ad hoc improvement or development work where required. Key responsibilities • Inspection and measurement of raw materials, components and finished medical devices • In-process and final inspection in line with control plans and work instructions • Completion and review of inspection records and quality documentation • Approval and release of product following QC inspection • Escalation of deviations and raising of non-conformances where required • Support for incoming and outgoing goods inspection and coordination with Stores • Support calibration and upkeep of inspection equipment and instrumentation Experience and skills required • Experience working in a quality inspection or hands-on inspection role • Ability to follow procedures and work instructions with a high level of accuracy • Strong attention to detail and confidence performing precise, repetitive tasks • Good eyesight and manual dexterity for close inspection and tool use Highly Beneficial • Experience working within a regulated manufacturing environment • Basic metrology experience and familiarity with inspection equipment This is a practical, detail-focused role suited to someone who enjoys hands-on quality work and takes pride in ensuring products meet exacting standards
