Job Purpose: We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Automotive CAD Engineer with specialized experience in Seating Soft Trim to join our dynamic engineering team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the design, development, and integration of soft trim components for automotive seating systems, ensuring alignment with aesthetic, ergonomic, and manufacturing requirements. Key Responsibilities: * Develop and maintain 3D CAD models and 2D drawings for seating soft trim components (e.g., covers, foams, stitch lines, headrests). * Collaborate with cross-functional teams including design, manufacturing, materials, and quality to ensure feasibility and compliance with specifications. * Interpret and implement design intent from styling data and engineering requirements. * Support prototype builds and production launches by providing accurate CAD data and resolving design issues. * Conduct tolerance analysis and ensure manufacturability of soft trim components. * Participate in design reviews and provide technical input to improve product quality and performance. * Maintain documentation and version control of CAD data in PLM systems (e.g., Teamcenter, Enovia). * Liaise with suppliers and external partners to ensure timely delivery of components and design data.
