Quality and Risk Coordinator The Lancaster Hospital 22.5 Hours & Permanent Salary: Up to £28,217.00 FTE per year (depending on level of experience, training and qualification) The Lancaster Hospital is part of Circle Health Group, Britain's leading provider of independent healthcare with a nationwide network of hospitals & clinics, performing more complex surgery than any other private healthcare provider in the country. We have an opportunity for a Quality and Risk Coordinator to join their team of staff in the Quality Assurance department. This is a Part time role for 22.5 hours a week. The role holder will be required to cover a flexible shift pattern. Duties of this role include: Support the local management and coordination of incident reporting, ensuring timely documentation, review, and closure of incidents in line with policy. Assist in the investigation of adverse events, near misses, and complaints, contributing to root cause analysis and action planning. Coordinate internal audits, inspections, and quality monitoring activities across departments, ensuring action plans are implemented and reviewed. Assist with compliance tracking against CQC, HIS, HIW, or equivalent standards, including preparation for inspections and reviews. Provide administrative and coordination support for governance meetings, including the collation of papers, minute-taking, and follow-up of actions. Maintain relevant databases, electronic systems, and records related to quality and risk activities. Applicants should meet the following criteria: Experience working in a quality, risk, governance, or clinical support role in a healthcare or regulatory environment. Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage sensitive information. Strong organisational and administrative skills, including minute-taking and report coordination. Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and governance systems. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
