Responsibilities
1. Develop new business opportunities, prospect potential new customers, and visit current key customers.
2. Present, sell, and translate MTL's capabilities in laser cutting and pressing.
3. Work towards targets to help increase the company's profitability.
4. Ensure customer requirements are fully understood and documented to enable accurate quotations.
5. Establish and develop strategic relationships with key customer accounts.
6. Manage your own sales budget within the general engineering sectors.
7. Provide weekly/monthly sales reports as required.
About You
* Proven track record in sales, new business development, and account management.
* Sound engineering knowledge, particularly in laser, press, sheet metal, and fabrication.
* Full UK driving license with the ability to visit clients, sites, and events nationwide.
* Professional representation of the company as the face of the business.
* Flexible approach to adapt to changing and challenging requirements.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills at all levels.
* Focus on quality and the ability to emphasize its importance to others.
* Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to generate innovative ideas.
Working Hours
* Monday – Friday 0800-1700 (1500 finish on Friday)
