Description
The Financial Accountant role requires a high level of attention to detail and supports the Senior Financial Accountant in reviewing the work of Accounts Assistants. This includes ensuring transactions are accurately posted, balance sheet reconciliations are prepared on a timely basis, and any issues or discrepancies within accounts are identified, investigated, and resolved promptly and appropriately. In addition, the Financial Accountant is responsible for debtor reviews, maintaining strong balance sheet control, and other ad hoc tasks as required.

13. Review of Accounts Assistants’ reconciliations
14. Review debtors
15. Assisting in VAT process and controls
16. Balance sheet reconciliations
17. Month end balance sheet reporting
18. Payment run review
19. Implementing SOX compliance measures and reviewing procedures
20. Assisting SFA in compiling year-end audit files
21. Ad-hoc analysis and tasks
