Job Purpose
The Inside Sales representative’s (ISR) job is primarily a customer service function and entails selling or introducing represented products to established clients, in close conjunction with an outside sales representative. Customer interfacing includes requests for quotations, lead times, order placement, expediting, or changes, the building of quotations, and communicating pertinent information proactively back to customers.
This role will be with the Flowline ISR team in Stephenville, TX with working a hybrid schedule.

Job Description
1. Builds relationships with customers and cultivates accounts into long-term customer alliances and continues to identify and promote opportunities for additional sales within the alliance.
2. Build and maintain strong relationships with account managers and marketing personnel.
3. Seeks and identifies business opportunities by interviewing customers.
4. Contributes to the reduction of inventory through additional sales and recommendations.
5. Customer interfacing includes requests for quotations, lead times, order placement, expediting, or changes, the building of quotations, and communicating pertinent information proactively back to customers.
6. Represents customer issues within the internal organization and updates the management team on a routine basis
7. Notify respective Account Manager and/or customer of missed deliveries
8. Work with planning to realign dates on assigned customer’s order backlog as required to support our customers.
9. Drives to improve internal processes and eliminate non-value added tasks.
10. Seeks resolutions and corrective actions when errors occur.
11. Initiate new part number setups.
12. Customer order follow-up, including reschedule notification.
13. Investigate and authorize return material requests.
14. Investigate and process credit requests.
15. Calculate pricing on MTO items while maintaining margin guidelines.
16. Negotiate priority allocations during stock shortages.
17. Handle customer complaints, including processing Internal Complaint forms and utilizing the Quality Notification System
18. Other customer service assignments as requested by management.
You are meant for this job if:
19. High School Diploma or GED, required.
20. Bachelor’s degree OR 3+ years of relevant experience in customer service, sales, or supply chain.
21. Demonstrated behavior focused on customer success.
22. Demonstrated ability to work in a Matrix Team Environment.
23. Solid understanding of internal and external economic factors such as costs, margins, and profit impact of decisions.
24. Self-motivated, Flexible, detail-oriented, and works with a sense of urgency.
25. Good written and verbal communication skills.
26. Good listening skills
27. Friendly, enthusiastic and represents the company in a professional manner at all times.

WORK ENVIRONMENT: General work environment is in the office area. The noise level is low and temperature is normal. There can be extended time sitting behind the desk. Stress can be a factor, as there are often numerous demands on the person’s time. Position calls for some travel.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Frequent sitting, typing, talking, walking, bending, stooping, climbing and infrequent lifting up to 50 lbs. will be required.
