Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled RF Engineer to design, implement, and optimise RF systems for high-frequency communication and broadcast applications. The candidate will focus on developing, testing, and enhancing RF circuits, antennas, and systems to meet performance, reliability, and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities
· Design and optimise RF systems and components (e.g., antennas, filters, amplifiers).
· Perform RF system simulations using tools such as HFSS, ADS, CST, and MATLAB.
· Test and validate RF hardware to ensure performance and regulatory compliance.
· Troubleshoot and resolve RF interference and signal integrity issues.
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate RF components into larger systems.
· Work on phased array antenna design and beamforming technologies to enhance system performance in high-frequency applications.
· Document test results and ensure compliance with EMC and EMI standards.
· Experience with SDRs (Software Defined Radios) and associated software tools like GNU Radio for signal processing and testing.
Education:
· BSc/MSc/PhD in Electrical Engineering or related field.
Experience:
· 3-5 years of RF design and testing experience.
· Strong knowledge of RF design software (HFSS, CST, ADS, MATLAB).
· Hands-on experience with lab equipment (spectrum/network analysers, signal generators).
· In-depth understanding of phased array antennas and beamforming technologies.
· Experience with SDRs and tools like GNU Radio for signal processing.
Technical Skills:
· Solid understanding of RF and microwave theory.
· Experience with RF front-end components.
· Familiarity with RF communication standards and modulation techniques.
Desirable
· Linux experience for system setup and testing environments.
·Python familiarity.
· Experience in broadcast, satellite communications, or radar systems.
