Mechanical Fitter Location: Norwich Employment Type: 12-week temporary-to-permanent (permanent position offered upon successful completion of probation) Salary: Between £15.77p/h to £17.37p/h (Salary dependent on skills and experience) Additional Benefits: Overtime available at enhanced rates: 1.5x (Monday to Saturday) 2x (Sundays) On-call rota approximately 1 week in every 5, with additional payments: £25/day (Monday–Friday) £50/day (weekends) Minimum 4 hours overtime pay if called out Working Hours: Monday–Thursday: 8:00am – 4:30pm Friday: 8:00am – 3:30pm 39 hours per week Role Overview: We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Fitter to join a busy and well-established engineering team, responsible for the maintenance, repair, and overhaul of a wide range of industrial equipment including motors, gearboxes, pumps, fans, and generators. This role offers a varied workload, combining workshop-based repairs with occasional site work.
