Estates Technical Support (Serco)
Full time, Monday – Friday
Salary Up To £28,000 Depending Upon Experience
Serco is contracted to provide Total Facilities Management to the Defence Academy of the UK (DA). The Estates Technical Support role supports the Estates team to facilitate project delivery and operational delivery ensuring Serco meets contractual requirements on time, on budget and to an auditable standard.
Main Responsibilities
* Booking visitors to site, ensuring proper sign in/out, issuing keys to contractors, updating notice boards and notifying CCO of contractor visits.
* Operation and administration of CAFM.
* Attending meetings, providing agenda and minutes to support the team.
* Updating team documents including training logs and templates.
* Administration of works process in compliance with Estates procedures.
* Assist all Estates departmental staff to undertake administrative tasks.
* Typing, Word processing, filing, photocopying, scanning.
* Production, amendment, and maintenance of assigned spreadsheets and databases; creation, review and update of any LOPs or work instructions.
What You’ll Need To Do The Role
* Proven experience in an administrative role.
* Able to use a variety of communication methods (spoken, written, behaviour).
* Problem solving skills.
* Methodical, proven organisational skills and ability to work under pressure.
* Team‑working and multitasking ability.
* PC literate, MS Office including Outlook, Word, Excel and SharePoint.
* GCSE grade C/4 or above (or equivalent) in English and Maths.

MoD Security Clearance is required; all employees must be SC level. Serco will support successful candidates with the SC clearance process. A UK residency of the last five consecutive years is a guideline.
