A-Level Biology Teacher
Location - BirminghamFull-time - Ongoing basis
A well-established secondary school with a thriving sixth form is seeking a dedicated A-Level Biology Teacher to join its Science Department. This is an excellent opportunity for a committed teacher who is passionate about delivering high-quality Biology education and supporting students to achieve their best.
The Role
* Teach A-Level Biology to sixth-form students.
* Teach GCSE Science as part of the wider department.
* Plan and deliver engaging lessons that support progress for learners of all abilities.
* Contribute to assessment, curriculum planning, and departmental development.
* Support students with practical work, coursework, and preparation for exams.
The Ideal Candidate
* A qualified teacher (QTS or equivalent) with strong subject knowledge in Biology.
* Able to teach A-Level confidently, or keen to develop experience at this level.
* Committed to high standards of teaching, learning, and student achievement.
* A team player with good communication skills and a positive approach to school life.
* Suitable for both experienced teachers and ECTs.
