Office hours - 37.5/week Monday - Friday, times to be confirmed at interview.
What you'll be doing
Assist with the preparation, updating, and distribution of production plans and schedules.
Input and maintain accurate data in planning systems (e.g., order progress, cut-off dates, stock levels).
Support with forecasting and capacity planning activities.
Prepare and circulate daily/weekly planning reports.
Maintain accurate filing systems (electronic and paper-based) for planning documents.
Liaise with Production and Warehouse teams to communicate plan changes or updates.
Act as a first point of contact for queries relating to schedules and order status.
Support customer service queries with accurate lead-time information when required.
Identify and suggest improvements to planning processes and systems.
Support colleagues with ad hoc projects and cross site coordination.
The role is for you if...
* You have experience in an administrative or planning support role (preferably in a manufacturing environment).
* Strong IT skills, particularly Microsoft Excel and planning/scheduling systems.
* Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
* Ability to prioritise and work to deadlines in a busy environment.
* Clear communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Experience in production planning, scheduling, or logistics is highly advantageous.
* Knowledge of manufacturing processes would be beneficial (sewing, upholstery, or similar).
* Experience using ERP/MRP systems.
* Methodical and accurate with a high level of attention to detail.
* Proactive, reliable, and adaptable to changing priorities.
* Team player with a positive and collaborative approach.
* Strong problem solving mindset.
