Key Responsibilities
* Plan, prepare, and deliver creative and engaging lessons aligned with the National Curriculum for a Year 5 class.
* Effectively differentiate teaching to meet the diverse learning needs of all pupils, ensuring every child can achieve their full potential.
* Monitor, assess, and report on student progress, providing constructive and timely feedback to pupils and parents.
* Create a positive, inclusive, and safe classroom environment that promotes a love of learning.
* Develop strong partnerships with parents, colleagues, and the wider school community to support student success.
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student attainment and development.
* Actively participate in school events, meetings, and extra-curricular activities.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Teaching experience within a Key Stage 2 (KS2) setting.
* Proven knowledge and a strong understanding of the Year 5 curriculum.
* Must hold, or be willing to undergo, an Enhanced DBS check.
* Outstanding classroom management skills with the ability to create a stimulating learning environment.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to build relationships with pupils, parents, and staff.
