A leading international law firm is seeking a Business Development & Admin Assistant to join their Global Client Development (GCD) team. This is an excellent opportunity for a graduate or early‑career professional to build experience in a fast‑growing, innovative practice area, Technology, Digital, Data & IP (TDDI).


The GCD team works closely with lawyers and business leaders across the firm to win new work, strengthen client relationships and deliver strategic campaigns. You’ll be part of a collaborative, global function that brings together sector insight, commercial thinking and marketing expertise.

In this role, you’ll support the growth of the TDDI practice, which advises international clients on cutting‑edge issues such as AI, emerging technologies, digital transformation, data privacy and IP strategy. The work is varied, fast‑paced and intellectually stimulating — ideal for someone curious, organised and eager to learn.


Key Responsibilities

You will support the team across a broad range of business development and administrative activities, including:


Business Development Support

* Assisting with the design and delivery of BD initiatives and marketing campaigns.
* Helping prepare client proposals and pitch materials, from initial scoping to submission.
* Coordinating directory and awards submissions, including gathering information and drafting content.
* Maintaining and updating credentials, capability statements and other client‑facing materials.
* Supporting the delivery of events such as webinars, roundtables and client workshops.
* Monitoring market and competitor activity and sharing insights with the team.
* Preparing briefing notes on topical issues for client meetings.
* Assisting with content creation and distribution as part of the firm’s content strategy.
* Contributing to business planning and identifying opportunities to collaborate across practice groups.


Administrative & Operational Support

* Maintaining key BD and marketing documents and updating practice web pages.
* Supporting CRM activity, including managing client lists and updating information in Microsoft Dynamics.
* Ensuring accurate and up‑to‑date matter and contact information across internal systems.
* Coordinating research projects and ensuring outputs are clear, accurate and actionable.
* Collaborating with colleagues across BD, Marketing, Communications and Insight to support wider initiatives.

* A degree or equivalent experience.

* The ability to analyse information and spot opportunities.

* A commitment to contributing to an inclusive, supportive team culture.


Desirable

* Previous BD or marketing experience (e.g., internship, placement year or junior role), ideally within a law firm or professional services environment.
* Familiarity with CRM systems such as Microsoft Dynamics.
